Saturday Scholars

The ELD Saturday Scholars is an activity designed to support English Learners as they transition into the California school system.  Our activities include: an open computer lab for parents and students, homework assistance, team building activities, and presentations from former ELD alumni who share their experiences as well as offer support for our current English Learners.  In addition, we encourage our students to be active participants in school clubs, sports teams and to participate in service to their community.  We also play recreational soccer to help improve student’s skills and self-esteem.  Each of these activities are open to all OHS students, their siblings and any minor in the Oceanside community.
