In order to graduate from Oceanside High School, the following requirements must be met:
- 220 credits in specified categories noted below (1 semester = 5 credits)

Graduating with Honors
Honors Candidates
Potential Honor Grads will be identified after 1st semester grades during their senior year.
Applications will be distributed to qualified candidates.
All Deadlines must be met.
Honors Program Criteria
Students who complete all of the following by week 12 of 2nd semester senior year will be considered honor graduates:
* Four AP classes with passing grades (1 English, 1 Math or Science, and 2 others)
* Perform 50 verifiable hours of community service
* 9-12 GPA of 3.6 (not including PE or TA classes) at the end of the seventh semester
* An autobiographical essay in senior year (as required by UC application process)
* C's or higher in 2nd semester 12 week progress report of their senior year
