Social-Emotional

Our collective work with school psychologists, school counselors, nurses, teachers, administrators, parents and various community agencies are focused on providing social emotional to mental health support. Information obtained through these resources is then integrated to provide social, emotional, behavioral and adaptive functioning support to the student, his or her family and the school. Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.
