Keep it simple and show your appreciation in just five sentences!

1. Introduction: “Thank you for spending your time teaching me about __________.”
2. Body (1–3 sentences): “I learned about __________ and appreciated that my perspective was challenged with __________. I look forward to continuing learning about __________.”
3. Conclusion: “Again, thank you for mentoring/meeting with me and I look forward to keeping in touch.”
4. Signature: Name, professional or academic email/social media
