College Entrance Exams
Almost all four-year colleges require either:
the SAT Reasoning Test OR the ACT plus Writing
We encourage you to take both toward the end of your junior year. Most colleges prefer the tests are completed by December of your senior year. There are a few colleges that want the testing done by October and some by November.

If you are applying to a highly selective college or even for certain majors you will also need to take the SAT Subject Tests (SAT II). Most colleges require 2 test from different subject areas, some colleges require 3 tests.

The Princeton Review, as part of the partnership with the SOAR (Student Online Achievement Resources) program, is offering this free online program for military students and their classmates. To access the program, register through the SOAR program atwww.soarathome.org. For civilian families, simply select “civilian” under branch.
