Hi!   Welcome to my first ever website!!!  I am currently beginning my 9th year at Oceanside High and my 21th year teaching.  I have been teaching Algebra to 8th and 9th graders for 20 years in Yucaipa and now Oceanside.   I have over 75 units of college mathematics courses and completed the California math Project in 1996 at UCR.  

     It is my goal for my students to achieve at least a one level improvement  on the 2012 CST/STAR testing in May.  To do that, I will be using an aggressive mixture of board work, quizzes, homework, hands-on projects and of course computer aided instruction via the PLATO system when possible.  Homework will be graded  once during the week, usually Friday and  goal is to keep School-loop current everyday.

   As for the rest, I  retired after 20 years in the U.S.Marine Corps and  orginally hailed  from Pennsylvania.  My B.S. degree is from California University of Pennsylvania, M.S. from National University, and my Math credential from UCR and UC Berkeley.  I enjoy running, SCUBA diving, woodworking and snow skiing.
